The Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship

Mazar of Shaikh M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen

TO OUR GUESTS AND VISITOR’S

The Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship Farm is located on a rural property in southeastern Pennsylvania. You are most welcome to visit the Mazaar, which is open to the public daily, between the hours of 8 AM and sunset. Please be aware that there are no public facilities available for preparing meals or for providing overnight accommodations, or camping. If you are planning on spending the day, and intend to bring refreshments, please remember there is no meat or fish allowed on the premises. On the weekends, during the summer months, a vegetarian lunch is often prepared and served in the hospitality center.

When you arrive, please sign the visitor book in the hospitality center which is the white building just beyond the Mazaar driveway to the left. There is also a small ablutions building to the right of the driveway near the Mazaar. There is an open-sided Prayer Pavilion in the wooded area which is used for Salat.

The Fellowship Farm follows Muhammad Raheem Bawa Muhaiyaddeen's (Ral.) halal/ kosher vegetarian dietary instructions, just as at the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship and Mosque of Sheikh M.R.Bawa Muhaiyaddeen, in Philadelphia. So again, we remind all our guests and visitor’s that no meat or fish is to be brought on the property.

Please remember that the flower gardens and lawns surrounding the Mazaar were established as an extension of this peaceful sanctuary and are there for your enjoyment and quiet contemplation. The vegetable garden on our property is not for public use. Please do not pick vegetables or harvest any crops from any of the gardens. Any produce grown on the farm is used by the cooks for the communal meals on the weekends.

We also remind our visitors and guests that this is a cemetery area and a place of quiet reflection for all our guests and  therefore when children come, the parents are responsible to ensure that no balls be thrown in the garden or other loud playing near the Mazaar. Please do not leave children unattended. Proper, appropriate and respectful conduct by children and adults inside the Mazaar is also the responsibility of all our guests. This consideration will ensure that others may have a peaceful experience at the Mazaar. Your cooperation and observance of these considerations will be greatly appreciated.

May Allah, the Bestower of all blessings and bounty, accept the loving intentions of all our guests for visiting the Mazaar of His wise and gracious servant M.R.Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.). In this place, may the light of wisdom fill our hearts and may all our hearts be made peaceful and content.

If you would like to buy some of the books by M.R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.), or CDs of his discourses, the bookstore in the hospitality center is open on the honor system. There is also a DVD player there with DVDs, which you are invited to play.

Below are 2 websites that list the closest motels and bed and breakfasts in the area and another website that lists local campgrounds. We urge you to make all necessary reservations before you come (there are no public phones on the property). We can't recommend any of these motels, but if you have some feedback on any of them, please email info@bmf.org.
